We opened this office in January 1998 and since then have found hundreds of jobs for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. NOVA offers Deaf specific employment assistance as part of the Disability Employment Network funded by the Australian Government.

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) 

The Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) is Australia’s largest independent special educator. RIDBC provides a wide range of innovative educational programs for children with hearing and/or vision impairment, including services for children with additional disabilities.

SHHH Australia Inc.

SHHH Australia Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit educational organisation dedicated to helping Australians with a hearing loss and whose primary method of communication is through speech.

Australian Theatre of the Deaf 

Australian Theatre of the Deaf aims to make a unique contribution to Australian culture by creating daring and bi-lingual theatre for the hearing and the deaf. In so doing, it hopes to promote understanding and awareness of cultural difference and increase the audience for deaf cultural expression.

National Relay Service 

The NRS an Australia-wide telephone access service provided for people who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment. It is also available to anyone who wants to call a person with a hearing or speech impairment.

Australian Association of the Deaf 

AAD was founded in 1986 by a group of Deaf people who felt that more could be achieved by working together as one large group rather than as many smaller groups or in association with organisations not controlled by Deaf people. cultural expression.
